It’s hard to say who has the most interesting sound/aesthetic in the experimental hip hop game, but rapper and producer JPEGMAFIA is undoubtedly a contender.
I intentionally hadn’t listened to the singles throughout the year. I thought it might make for a better experience when this EP dropped, imagining it could hit like All My Heroes Are Cornballs did a last year.
I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, there’s a part of me that prefers the brevity of this release.
