Continuing to carve his own path, Beijing producer JChan likes to approach his beatmaking from square one. To my delight, he’s dropped another album of lopsided beats coming very much out of left field. Packed with obscure and unsettling samples, this release may sound disjointed to many but is actually a carefully layered piece of work.
