Qwiet Type – Colours In My Dreams

We’re all on a journey to find that one person who makes life a bit more of a kaleidoscope and add a little bit of vibrance to days that seem more and more grey – and US artist Qwiet Type presents his take with his great new release, Colours In My Dreams.

Combining pop and electro-pop into something special (we had strange – and possibly slightly errant – flashbacks to Boogie Nights with just the opening chord), this song is a bop right from the off, with delectably hooky vocal melodies that manage to be catchy without sacrificing the sense of a journey. That sense is so strong, in fact, that we swore we could’ve heard the sound a of a seatbelt clicking into place dug into the mix in the choruses.

If you are a fellow musician who wants to hear a masterclass of how to construct a song – you’ve found it here. Colours In My Dreams builds at just the right moments, whilst also keeping things interesting and I defy you to listen to this without enjoying a little boogie in your seat.

You can take a listen to Colours In My Dreams on your chosen streaming platform, and find out more about Qwiet Type on his Instagram page.
